The order of the categories is as follows:
1st day
women: -48 kg / -52 kg / -57 kg

men : - 90 kg / -100 kg / +100 kg
DURATION OF CONTESTS
The duration of each contest will be that of 5 minutes for men and for women.

WEIGH IN
The weigh-in takes place on the same morning between 07:30 hrs and 08:00 hrs as the competition for the category concerned. Unofficial weigh-in takes place between 06:30 hrs and 07:30 hrs.

CLOTHING
The competitions will be held in white and blue judogi.
Each federation must bring spare judogi. These judogi, wearing the back number of the competition, will be kept near the tatami during the competition. All competitors participating at the European Championships have to carry their surname on the judogi.
The women competitors must wear a white non-transparent T-shirt, The bras must not have any hard pieces.
Long hair has to be bound with an elastic band.
Make-up and jewellery are prohibited.
The nails have to be cut short.
